Established in 1968 by Jim “Pop” Ernst, Prestige Builders has earned a rock-solid reputation for designing and creating custom homes and remodeling projects with superior craftsmanship and exceptional client service. The full design-build firm is family-owned and operated by second-generation builder/owner Dave Ernst and his mother Sue. The rest of the Prestige team also features family members, friends, and even past clients. Dave’s father started as a draftsman for a lumber company in the mid-Sixties and then started his own building at the encouragement of one of his builder clients. Jim built his business by applying one of his many “Pop-isms” as a guiding principle...“Build it like I’m gonna live there.” Everyone at Prestige Builders shares in that same spirit as they craft your new home or project. Jim Ernst passed away in June of 2019, ...but Dave is so glad that Jim had the opportunity to celebrate Prestige Builder's 50th anniversary in 2018 with family, tradespeople, and many happy clients at a company celebration held at the recently opened Prestige Design Center.
